InternShip in Full Sail

This morning it took Taco Bell 10 minutes to give me an iced coffee...they were trying to make me late. Despite my rough start, I made it on time and smelling fresh. Let's just say overall, my first day interning at IEWEEKLY was something to write home about...blog about...same difference. Yesterday I panicked through a couple moments anticipating my first assignment. I knew this opportunity was different.  After impressing any supervisor or teacher thus far in life, I know success is attainable no matter what. This can seem really cocky, and maybe it is. It's not to say that I haven't had arguments with certain owners of restaurants or gotten a deserving D- once in college. You know, shit happens when you stop caring. Back to this great opportunity I'm presented, the stakes have never been this high. This internship is unrelated to my past work experiences because it is everything I want to do in the next five to ten years. Any other job I've had was money-motiavted. Therefore, I'm nervous taking on something I'm so passionate for. I have to do well. I'm now fully aware, after the chief editor showed me a thing or two, that I have a lot of work to do in developing my tone. Writing papers on serious philosophical context for four straight years has really put a damper on my light-hearted entertaining voice. I plan on using this blog to help me develop my writing, hand in hand with my internship.

If you happen to follow this...I would be shocked....I hope you see improvement over the next couple weeks. Give me your feedback. Lesson for today: While I'm obligated to write (Because I love it) readers are not obligated to read. ayi yi yi, I will try to make this entertaining. What's more entertaining than a couple pictures of my beautiful nieces? Nothing. Enjoy <3
